User Reviews....
I bought this for my boyfriend as a small present, and we both love it! The car is small, so it's not for kids who like to chew/ stick stuff in their mouths. Its a great, easy starter model for a more responsible child with parent help due to the pieces being so small, but no reading is required! All instructions in full colour photos in a small booklet, and comes with a mini-figurine for the collection. I must have for a starter set or even a expansive collection, very cute :D -- Awesome starter set/Car
This Lego set 3177 comes with a cute box. Open it and you will find a bag of bricks and a 16-page booklet.
Well,on the back of the set's box,it says that this Small Car is designed for easy building, and it is!
Here are the Pros and Cons:
Pros:

-Contains a mini-suitcase!
-Looks like a Smart Car

Well, thats all for my 2nd Review of Lego Sets!
-- A Cute "Mini-Lego Car"!
We bought this mini set as part of a reward system for a four year old daughter who, as of late, has had an interest in die cast cars. This one really transferred her interest rather quickly. Its really fun for a child that young to see that a bag of small parts and a little instruction book can turn into a cool car that can be played with. She seemed surprised that the wheels that work, and the doors open too!

When we were done building it, (a joint effort, since this was the first Lego building project for her) she actually spent a great deal of time studying the instructions over and over. She seemed totally amazed to have played a part in building a real toy.

Up to this point the only Legos we've had are our truckload of Duplos and a few of the standard 4+ brick sets.

The little car is pretty neat. It rolls about smoothly, is attractive, and can of course, accomodate its little passenger whose legs and hair are removable/interchangeable. The car actually stays together, despite having been in a few 'wrecks' with other toys. That surprised me, I sort of expected it to crumble apart when subjected to rough play.

All in all, a great little Lego addition for a few bucks. And it's not made in China! -- Nice Lego Mini-Building Set
Here's a neat little addition to the Lego City. The Small Car is similar to a Smart Car and comes with a hipster-looking minifigure (how else to describe an office worker - complete with briefcase - in a hooded sweatshirt?) The car sits one and there's even room in the back for his briefcase. I don't see a cup holder for his inevitable soy latte though.

Complexity: There are only 43 pieces in this set, so assembly took just a few minutes. As always, Lego's instructions are crystal clear.

Playability: This is a neat little car, and the opening doors were a big hit. Unfortunately you still have to remove the roof to get the minifigure (who my son has dubbed "Worker Nelson") in and out of the car. It's pretty sturdy, and can survive most play situations without losing pieces.

The Lego City Small Car may not look like much, but it's still a fun addition to the City collection and its size and price make it an ideal stocking stuffer or small reward for good behavior. -- Small car, big fun
We boght this city car for our son to complete his LEGO city set. Nice car, as usual durable and easy to assemble. Nothing too fancy. -- City Car - to make it complete
