These are high quality plastic framed glasses with hard lenses (not cardboard). The lenses are RED & CYAN color and are for use with the home 3D version of the home DVD Polar Express or any other 3D DVDs that require RED/CYAN lenses (such as Hannah Montanah).
These glasses will NOT work in the movie theaters nor with movies that require magenta/green lenses. The DVD must be the "3D" version.

These glasses work perfectly for all my red/cyan 3D needs and are quite comfortable too. I don't own Polar Express or have any desire to see it, but I imagine that title was just tacked onto this unrelated product to generate sales. These are just normal, everyday 3D glasses, ignore the Polar Express part. -- 3D
I've been reading reviews about how paper glasses are better than these. I am pretty sure they have never tried these and are just fuzzing. These glasses are so much better than paper ones because each color covers your line of sight most of the way compared to the paper models. Honestly, me and my friends didn't expect these to look any different and we were wrong. These are perfect for watching Anaglyph movies and pictures on a large TV, but do seem to cause a strain when looking at stuff on LCD and CRT monitors! -- AWESOME

The concerns are eye restrain, low depth and images phase differences
I would not really recommend as I've tried it with several 3D movies on my 32" Panasonic LCD with big disappointment but really works good on my other 42" Plasma -- Not as expected
Not much to say, glasses shipped quickly and arrived on time. i mistakingly bought the wrong glasses (i don't own the polar express) so I do not know if they will work for that movie, but they work for my 3d needs. glasses smudge easily so be careful. -- 3d glasses
