I thought htis might be fun for my friend's 4 yr old, he absolutely loves transformers and plays carefully. The pieces break apart often, difficult to "transform" without breaking off a piece. It took me 20 mintues to "transform" the two back into that icecream truck. Don't waste your money. Although, if you're a collector, I think it's fine. -- Transformers -break - a- lot?
My grandson asked for this for Christmas. It was delivered practically overnight and he claims to love it. I doubt it's very educational, but then, some things need to be just for fun, right? -- My grandson loved it for Christmas!
I bought this just because of the vehicle mode. If you like ice cream trucks, you can't miss this one. The robots, however, are not so good.
Skids (from the front part of the vehicle) has very tiny legs and have some problem balancing, and is smaller than Mudflap.
Both robots are very flimsy, but they are using some good plastics so I do not expect them to break any time soon. The transformation is among the most frustrating ones I've ever had among my transformers collection, and I have quite a bit. -- super cute vehicle mode, not so for the robots
