The 9 year old boy who received this toy can't get enough of it. He's an avid fan of transformers and Bumblebee is his favorite character. Although tricky to transform initially, once he go the hang of it (with help from his parents) he had no problems transforming from autobot back/forth to camaro. He has mentioned that it is a bit heavy, but he doesn't seem to mind. -- Kids will love this toy
If you want this to play with, find another toy. Almost the entire transformer deluxe and voyager class toys are for older kids 10+ despite the 5+ note on the box. Excellent features on this Ultimate Bumblebee like movie sounds, animitronics, like auto firing gun! Motion/Sound detection and the neat flip down helmet (which always falls off). OVerall a great collectors piece and I'm very happy with it. -- Awesome for Collectors
We bought bumblebee as a xmas gift for our son. He was very excited to see it. Not much can be done with the toy in robot mode. To change it to car mode whoa get a drink and have time. It takes long because there are some pieces
that are hard to get in place but must get in place for it to be in car mode. The car mode does not allow you to experience all the features if one part is not in place and the doors keep falling down. We had to put a rubber band around it and the front part keeps opening despite how much you close it. It is good for driving though the end -- buzz
My 9 year old son received his Ultimate Bumblebee for Christmas. He loves it but will not try to transform it himself because he is so afraid of breaking it. When in robot mode it takes several attempts to attach the arms and if he moves them around much they detach and it won't work properly if the arms are not attached. It takes quite a while to transform it from one mode to the other and this is partly because I am afraid of breaking it. This was actually the second one I purchased. The first one was purchased from a retail store and it did not work properly in the car mode so I returned it but this was a popular toy and it was out of stock everywhere I tried until I went to Amazon. Buying this toy at Amazon saved me a LOT of money (approx. $60). So overall the price I ended up paying makes up for some of it's issues. -- Fun for my son but not for me
My son loves his Bumblebee Transformer. He loves the movie, and enjoys acting out the scenes, pretending he's a Transformer, too. Ultimately, this particular Transformer is a bit difficult to transform, compared to others. He has to have help. Unfortunately, we were caught between a rock and a hard place, with this order. Needing it "ASAP" put us in the position of having to pay an extremely high price for shipping. -- Ultimate Bumblebee
